Délice d'Ange: A Corner of France in the Heart of Chișinău

Délice d'Ange: A Corner of France in the Heart of Chișinău

In the center of Chișinău there is a place where time flows differently. On 31 August 1989 street, number 117/2, the doors of Délice d'Ange open every morning with the same quiet promise: a delicate blend of Parisian elegance and Moldovan hospitality.

    A dream born of passion

Délice d'Ange — “The Angel's Delight” — is more than a patisserie. It is a love letter to the French art of pastry, carefully brought to the heart of the capital. The name and logo, inspired by Renaissance angels, speak of refinement, finesse and a certain innocence of taste. Every detail, from the gilded mirrors to the marble counter, was designed to create an atmosphere where a warm croissant and a cup of coffee become a small ritual.

The heart of the café: people and craft

Behind the colorful display of macarons, éclairs, tartlets and cakes is a team of passionate pastry chefs working from authentic French recipes, adapted with the finest local ingredients. Croissant dough is laminated by hand, the chocolate ganache is made from selected beans, and fruits come, whenever possible, from Moldovan growers.

An experience, not just a visit

Our café, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 and weekends from 9:00, is the perfect spot for a working breakfast, a meeting with friends or a family lunch. There is even a small corner dedicated to children, so that parents can quietly enjoy an éclair or a quiche Lorraine. The phone +373 695 09 059 often rings for birthday-cake orders — because at Délice d'Ange, every occasion deserves a dessert worthy of it.

    Why “a corner of France”

Because everything, from the way coffee is served to the aroma of fresh butter that greets you at the door, is an invitation to a short Parisian escape — no plane ticket required, just a few steps from Ștefan cel Mare Park.
